Grizzlies Stadium opened in 2002 to wide acclaim for its oustanding design and its positive impact on downtown Fresno. Grizzlies Stadium features extra-wide concourses, high concession-stand ratios, 33 private suites, a stadium club restaurant, outfield picnic areas, a portable stage in right field, and parking for more than 975 vechiles. The vast majority of the seating is in the traditional grandstand, although there is small seating area in left field and a concourse down the third-base line for those who just like to mill around. And despite the traditional baseball grandstand design, the stadium is used for other events in the region, such as footabll, concerts, and motocross rallies.
