The Kings River area above Pine Flat is a great location for fly fishing, white-water rafting and sightseeing. In the summer, floating down the river in rafts and tubes is a popular pastime.  Visit the Reedley area along the Kings River for convenient river access and raft rentals.

San Joaquin River Parkway

Hike, bike or ride a horse on the Lewis S. Eaton Trail. Woodward Park. Fish, picnic, hike or canoe at Camp Pashayan (April-Oct.), Herndon and Highway 99. Sycamore Island located at Road 40 and Ave. 7 in Madera. San Joaquin River guided canoe tours (May-Oct.), nature walks (spring and fall). Visit the River Center, Woodward Park and Old Friant Road.
